The editorial line focused on medicine as a profession with a strong social and humanized component, committed with a sustainable world, a formation anchored in scientific bases and ethical values. Therefore, the Journal brings the presentation of original articles, case reports and reviews that will contribute to the advance of knowledge in the area. <p>A Revista Anais da Faculdade de Medicina de Olinda foi incluída na qualificação da Qualis - CAPES (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior). Agora, de acordo com o sistema, nosso periódico tem classificação B4, fruto da crescente qualidade de artigos científicos publicados e pelo interesse permanente da instituição em promover pesquisa e ciência. A lista da nova classificação foi divulgada no final de dezembro de 2022, e diz respeito a periódicos em atividade durante o quadriênio 2017/2020.</p> <p>A classificação é realizada pelos comitês de consultores da CAPES e segue critérios previamente definidos que procuram refletir a importância dos diferentes periódicos para uma determinada área.</p> <p>Prof. Dr. Paulo Sávio A. de Góes</p> <p>Editor-Chefe </p> <p>Anais da Faculdade de Medicina de Olinda</p>
