Abstract

ABSTRACT: The The pandemic caused by the thousands of cases of COVID-19 that ravaged the world and continue to cause victims day after day is characterized as one of the greatest health problems in global proportion of the century, challenging managers to establish measures to contain its impacts in the various scenarios affected by it. According to the World Health Organization, about 16 million cases were confirmed in Brazil and of these, 472 cases were registered in the state of Pernambuco. These numbers show the seriousness of the pandemic and indicate that emergency measures must be taken in order to contain the spread of the virus. Primary Health Care should be considered an important support tool in emergency situations to contain the pandemic using special strategies. Through the methodology proposed by Arco de Maguerez, which proposes in five stages, from the identification of the problem to the hypothesis of solution and application to reality.
