Hospitalization is a delicate moment, which involves several conditions, such as pain, physical discomfort and emotional instability, and requires the patient's patience for having to be confined to bed for so long. Storytelling turns out to be a means of bringing moments of leisure and culture to those people who are unable to enjoy them due to hospitalization and illness, in addition to alleviating the discomfort of hospitalization by entering the world of history. Thus, the importance of this attention in the context of patients' hospitalization is noted. When they have the opportunity to have access to a moment like this, reactions to pain can become smaller, even if temporarily, which ends up facilitating the hospitalization process.
